Kai Manaaki – Community Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kai Manaaki to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a kaupapa Māori environment and is committed to supporting whānau to achieve their aspirations and positive outcomes.

You will bring a strong work ethic, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to work alongside whānau to identify goals, develop pathways, and support meaningful and sustainable change.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5–10 years’ experience working in community-based roles within the NGO and/or government sectors.
  • A qualification in Social Work, Whānau Ora, Community Development, or a similar field is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience using client management systems is advantageous.
  • The ability to quickly learn new tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
